CFM DOCUMENTARY WINS SILVER IN THE 2020 SPOTLIGHT DOCUMENTARY FILM AWARDS

Just a month after clinching a nomination for the Africa Movie Academy Awards, the Centre for Memories (Ncheta Ndigbo) is pleased to announce that its documentary on the Nigeria-Biafra War titled, JANUARY 15, 1970: Untold Memories of the Nigeria-Biafra War, has won the Spotlight Documentary Film Awards.

The documentary is produced by international award-winning filmmaker, Ed Emeka Keazor (Ezennia Ugonabo n’Obosi) of Alto Historical Media, for the Centre for Memories, and was released in January 2020. It has been adjudged to be one of the most balanced accounts of the Biafra War.

The Centre for Memories has just finished the production of another documentary on Dr. Michael Okpara titled, M. I. POWER: The Legend and the Legacy. The documentary has been premiered on January 23, 2021.
