The reading culture of a people goes a long way to influence their thoughts, actions and ideology.
It is against this background that the Centre for Memories (Ncheta Ndigbo) unveils a new programme, an initiative that seeks to build a good reading culture among our children; The CFM Children’s Online Monthly Bookclub (C-COMB).
It is a monthly virtual book reading, review, and discussion programme for children that will be hosted on Zoom. It is designed for children within the classes of Primary 4 to Senior Secondary 3, the club is aimed at empowering the leaders of tomorrow to serve with excellence by building the skills they need, such as reading, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
Children can win amazing prizes when they are selected as the Reader of the Month. To become the Reader of the Month, you must read the book for the month and correctly answer questions from it.
Kindly register your children for the club by filling a form accessible via this link https://forms.gle/X2vcycjHC7WEAn2W8.
We urge you to avail your kids of this opportunity to imbibe and maintain a good reading culture.
