Late Dr. Michael Iheonukara Okpara goes down in history as arguably the best Administrator and public servant Nigeria has ever produced.

This is evident in the fact that for about 60 years, he has been referenced as a model of servant leadership and the best leader Ndigbo has ever produced.

At age 39, MI Okpara became Nigeria's youngest premier and a very selfless leader. In less than 5 years, he astronomically transformed the old Eastern region.

The Centre for Memories, in collaboration with Alto Historical Media, and in keeping with our mandate of preserving and documenting Igbo history has put together a world class documentary titled: MI POWER: THE LEGEND AND THE LEGACY. The documentary captures the life and times of the legendary servant-leader, Dr. Michael Iheonukara Okpara and will be premiered on the 61st anniversary of his swearing in as the Premier of the old Eastern Nigeria.
