The Coronavirus has changed the reality of our world and as a responsible organization, the Centre for Memories (Ncheta Ndigbo), once again announces the indefinite suspension of the monthly Nkátá Ụmụ Ibe lecture series which is held on the first Friday of every month at the Enugu Sports Club.
We had suspended the lecture series in April 2020 because of the outbreak of COVID-19 and resumed last December. Regrettably, we are compelled to do so again in response to the second wave of the pandemic. The health and safety of our speakers, moderators and participants remain paramount and we will resume the event when there are indications that the transmission rates have reduced significantly.
We urge everyone to stay safe, always use a mask and maintain physical distancing.
